Since the closure of physical learning, online learning has become expensive to many "comrades". University students in Kenya are now having a problem of data bundles. You find out that a student needs at least 900mbs of data inorder to attend all the online classes in a day. That has been a problem to many university students. The reason is;not all the students in the universities can afford to buy 1gb of data bundles on daily basis.
The university students are now demanding the instructions to provide them with data bundles. Most of them are now having a difficulty to attend all the online lectures because of lack of data bundles.
The university students are complaining that they have been raising complaints but the Institutions have not sort them out.I think it is not the role of institutions to provide them with data bundles but it is the work of Kenyan education ministry.
The ministry of education should provide subsidized data bundles for educational purposes. That will help the "comrades" to get cheap and affordable data bundles for learning.
