Teachers employed by teachers Service Commission have up to April 30 2021 to activate their email addresses.
Activation will enable them access Office 365 which makes it easy for them to upload videos of their lessons, minutes of meetings and other activities that aid teaching.
As other teachers struggle to log into office 365, there are others who have accessed the site and reactions are varied.
Some are speaking positively about the whole project terming it a resourceful site where teachers can showcase with ease what they are doing in class.
On the other hand, there are those who want to go for early retirement sensing more frustration from the employer with others pitying young teachers as the future isn't that good.
Others just want TSC to provide bandles and laptops for uploading the videos and various documents as required. Below are the screenshots of the reactions of teachers on facebook-Mwalimu dot com.
This is happening at a time when teachers are also required to be updating their tpad uploading relevant documents that will help in ascertaining their productivity.
Teachers who don't have smartphones and aren't techno-savy have found themselves at the mercy of cyber attendants where they end up paying heavily for the services.
Besides, they also leave their crucial information with the cyber fellows which some rogue attendants can use inappropriately.
Do you think the commission is fair to teachers even as it seeks to monitor progress? Feel free to share your thoughts and comments on this on our comments platform
