College Education

Hope For Kenyans As Education Ministry Is Dealt a Blow by MPs, What Next For CS Magoha in His Quest?

The Government is determined to provide quality Education for all Kenyans whether one is rich or poor. The capitation fees has provided an equal opportunity for all the learners in the learning institutions. However, the HELB loans tend to favour the students from poor backgrounds more than those from the rich backgrounds.

Currently, there are thousands of students who struggle to get the university Education but they can't due to the poverty at home. Some of these factors that could limit the students could even range from money for accommodation to even distance.Sometimes back, the Government closed down some campuses of some universities.Little did it know that it interfered with the lives of some students who could comfortably study in these campuses.

Luckily, there is hope again for Kenyans to access university Education at their home counties. The MPs have dealt a blow the Ministry of Education's plan to scrap the law about at least one university per county. If the bill sponsored by Garissa Town MP Aden Duale goes through, then it means that there will be at least a university in all the 47 counties. This will make university Education accessibility. What next for CS Professor George Magoha?
