Here Is How 2022 KCPE Candidates Should Check Their School Placement After Education CS Announcement

The 2022 KCPE placement results have been made public by Ezekiel Machogu, Cabinet Secretary for Education.

At a news conference on Monday, CS Machogu stated that all 1,230,588 exam takers had been properly assigned to various secondary schools in accordance with the 100% transition policy.

Machogu claimed that the concepts of merit, choice, equity, and candidate placement space were carefully followed during the selection process.

The students had been divided into five categories, he declared;

A total of 38,972 kids were put in the 106 National schools across the country, with 20,178 male and 18,794 female. Every student who received a grade of 400 or higher was sent to one of their preferred national or extra-county schools.

111,105 female students and 117,055 male students, for a combined total of 228,160 pupils, will be admitted to the extra-county schools.

The county schools received 199,027 students in total, including 107,461 female students and 91,566 male students.

The majority of all categories, 762,610 kids, will be admitted to sub-county schools. Of these, 387,203 are men and 372,459 are women.

1,819 pupils with special needs will be enrolled in special needs schools, 871 of whom will be female and 948 male. They were sent to the schools of their choosing, based on merit, or according to their impairment categories.

Therefore, Machogu advised individuals who wanted to check which schools they had been assigned to text the candidate's index number to 22263.

He added that all categories of schools now have joining instructions available online through the ministry's website, www.education.go.ke. Candidates, parents, or guardians can now access these instructions.

It has been recommended that anyone with questions contact [email protected] for support.

"Those who may not be satisfied may seek aid from desired schools."
