Ministry of Education Breaks Silence On Alleged Postponement of Re-opening of All Schools

Prof. George Magoha of the Education Cabinet provided the image.

The Ministry of Education, which is firmly under the direction of the current Education Cabinet member, Prof. George Magoha, has refuted claims that the country's primary and secondary school reopening dates have been delayed.

According to a widely circulated news release ostensibly from the Ministry of Education, all primary and secondary schools will now resume on Monday, August 22, 2022.

All Kenyans have been informed by the Ministry of Education that the misinformation included in the widely circulated news release is false, and they are urged to disregard it.

The Ministry of Education declared, "This is bogus."

Just a few hours have passed since Education Cabinet Professor George Magoha stated that school would open on Thursday . All parents have been hard to reach as their students were at home for one week as the general election took over, and now we have finished all operations of voting and our students can return to school. Please ensure that all students return and that all parents do enough shopping for their children before they return to school tomorrow.
