The education sector has been greatly affected by the covid-19 pandemic. Most of the students have lost precious school time at home since the time President Uhuru announced the closure of all learning institutions.
The number of positive Covid-19 cases has greatly reduced in the country forcing the president and the ministry of education to open all the learning institutions for face-to-face learning.
Recently, the ministry of education released a new school calendar. The calendar will cater to both primary schools and secondary schools. The calendar shall operate between now and 2023.
This comes as the students prepare to report back to schools as from 10th this month. The ministry had assured all the candidates that they are not going to repeat and they have already done so. Both the class 8 and form four candidates have already done the National exams.
