Ezekiel Machogu, the cabinet secretary for education, revealed the Form One Placement for 2022 KCPE exam students on Monday, January 16.
Speaking to the media, CS Machogu stated that some candidates did not receive adequate assistance on school selection, as a result of which some institutions attracted far more applicants than they could handle.
"It became evident during the selection process that many candidates were not given the right advice and direction while selecting their schools. As a result, several colleges received more applications than they could handle "said Machogu.
The CS for Education further said, "Because of the aforementioned outcomes, many applicants will not get their top selections and will have to face the fact that they cannot be assigned to their "dream" institution. I want to implore principals and parents to ensure that candidates make sensible decisions by providing sound counsel."
