The Law Development Centre court in Kampala today summoned National Unity Platform boss Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu to present himself in court and blocked charges of illegal admission into Makerere University.
The revelations made by grade one magistrate Augustine Alule, will see the opposition leader Bobi Wine show up in the court without flouting the court orders on October 7, 2021 in the afternoon to give his side on the charges given to him by city lawyer Male Mabirizi.
The latest report comes only a day after Mabirizi urged the court to summon the National Unity Party leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi for forging his admission credentials at the higher learning institution.
It is reported that the former presidential candidate graduated from the institution the year 2000 having obtained a diploma in Music, Dance and Drama (MDD), which the city lawyer stated he forged.
Mr Mabirizi said the Musician turned politician was 20 years old on October 21, 2000, and was a student of Music, Dance and Drama on a genuine age admission scheme contrary to the learning institution's prospectus of 1999/2000 -2000/2001.
To support his petition, Mabirizi presented the certified credentials of proofs from Makerere University indicating Mr Robert Kyagulanyi's records of admission which is dated and signed by him on October 20, 2000.
