Education can be defined as the total process of developing human abilities and behavior and this explains why parents strive to have their children educated, the government of Kenya has also served education with high respect because in every year budget, the ministry of education is allocated the largest share of the budget.
Primary and secondary schools opened on 26th April 2022 for the first term of 2022 and all the academic activities have been guided by a new school calender adopted by the ministry of education to help recover lost time following the outbreak of Covid19 disease that saw schools closed for several months.
According to the new school calendar, both primary and secondary schools will close tomorrow for half term which will take three days until 29th of this month.
The schools will finish first term on 02.07.2022, term two will commence on 11th July 2022, half term will be on 6th August 2022 until 13th August 2022 to pave way for the general elections set for 9th August 2022 and term two will end on 16.09.2022. Term three will be starting on 26th September 2022 and end on 25th November 2022 to give room for KCPE and KCSE examinations.
