As part of their professional mandates, all teachers working under the Teachers Service Commission, TSC, are required to fill the Teacher Professional Appraisal and Development (TPAD) which is used by the commission as a yardstick on teachers delivery and self evaluation.
When filing the TPAD files, teachers are supposed to upload evidence of what they are doing in school and at the classroom level as a confirmation that they are physically executing their mandates properly.
However, TSC have introduced a new and mandatory requirement that all teachers should fulfil when filing the online TPAD documents.
The two mandatory documents that teachers should upload when filing the online TPAD files include;
1. Teachers certificates.
2. Certified documents from school administrators.
This is in a move by the TSC to easily audit teachers and easily identify those who fail to comply with the employers directives. Teachers are therefore advised to assemble all the relevant documents to be used as the evidence of their qualifications and effectiveness.
