It is not yet clear the circumstances that led to a fight between two students which resulted to one of them losing his life.

According to Mwingi West OCPD, Mr Kazungu Charo, they are still investigating what led to a form one student beating fellow student to death.
It was reported that the form one student at Ndaluni secondary school located in Kyome/Thaana ward in Mwingi West, Kitui county that two students were involved in a fight. One beat the other until he fell unconscious. Unfortunately, he died on the way while being rushed to Mwingi level 4 hospital.
The suspect was arrested as further investigations are ongoing.
Relevant authorities are questioning why over one hundred teachers failed to recognize the fight and block the students from further fights.
