Today, Higher Education Loans board has partnered with safaricom in a bid of facilitating effectiveness in service delivery. The safaricom chief finance service office Sitoyo Lopokoiyit met with Chief Executive Office of HELB Charles Ringers at the launch of M-Pesa student loans smart payment solution at Safaricom head office in Nairobi.

Now HELB beneficiaries can access services thorough Safaricom M-Pesa for effective service. However, some students have raised concerns on disbursement of pending funds that has delayed. HELB has promised to disburse the loan as they operate with batch numbers
