All secondary and primary schools have been scheduled to close their institutions this week. There are many challenges that occur when students close schools and embark on going home.
Today, Thursday 30th September 2021,residents of Kabarnet town were astonished as a secondary school boy caused drama in the broad day light due to being drunk.
He is said to have to drank alcohol immediately after he got out of school. Their school had closed for a short holiday, here is where he got the freedom to save himself with some liquor which left him too drunk.
Some individuals carried him and put him on a motorcycle. He was then taken home. This incident left many people shocked, wondering on what has become of our children and our future generation.
Parents and together with teachers are advised to guide and monitor their children well to avoid such embarrassing cases like this. And children are also advised to abstain from alcohol.
