Despite the negative influence the Covid-19 disease brought into the education sector and all sectors at large when all learning institutions were all closed indefinitely to help in compating the disease, the ministry of education under the patronage of professor George Magoha came with new examination dates for both Kcse and Kcpe.
The Kenya Certificate of Primary education exams were done from 22nd March to 24th March this year and marking resumed imediately, due to the advancement of technology, the Kenya national examination council adopted the use of optical mark reader (omr) a data source entry machine which identifies marked options on the multiple choice Kcpe answer booklet thus marking is already complete.
The Kenya certificate of Secondary education exams are ongoing despite some candidates have completed theirs, the last paper will be done on 21st of this month.
We are expecting the kcpe results by the end of this week, candidates will get their results by sending a short message service (sms) costing ksh25 airtime with their real İndex numbers followed by the word Kcpe to the number 20076 e.g 00735213014kcpe imediately the cabinet secretary will be through with his speech.
