President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto is working to fulfill one of his promises. The president promised to start hustlers fund for Kenyans. The hustlers fund was at first promised to be interest free but to the surprise of Kenyans, the government announced that there will be 8% interest.
But the president has been shamed and castigated over his move to start the Hustler Funds. According to Mumias East Constituency Member of Parliament Hon Peter Salasya, he said that president William Samoei Arap Ruto wants to bring Hustlers Fund yet many many undergraduates in universities and colleges are unable to write their exams due to fees. He said that the government must prioritize on ensuring that hustlers go to school first.
"#hustlers must go to school .Many undergraduates in universities and colleges are unable to write their exams due to fees. Many children from humble families are at home. Then you want to bring hustler fund yet they can’t go to school. We want cdf before we talk about hustler funds."
