Education Ministry In Trouble After This Is Revealed

The ministry of education is facing transition from the 8-4-4 system to the Competency Based Curriculum. This has been an emerging issue as it is affecting many people in the country. Few days ago, Members of Parliament released a proposal demanding the new curriculum to be fixed or else we reintroduce the 8-4-4 system. In reacting to this, cabinet secretary Ezekiel Machogu confirmed that CBC will continue as many people are in support of it.Well, transition to junior secondary school has been faced with lots of challenges. Following what Taifa Leo magazine has gazetted today, they have indicated that the education ministry is facing troubles after reports emerged that, junior secondary school learners have sat a month in school without learning.This has been brought about by lack of trained teachers under the new Curriculum. Also, the ministry promised to construct new class rooms for junior secondary schools which has not yet been achieved by many schools.
