The commission which is also responsible with teachers remuneration is currently under the leadership of Dr. Nancy Macharia as the serving Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In the recent past, TSC has been on the forefront to ensure that all its operations are done online. The most embraced service is the online filling of the Teacher Progress and Appraisal Document (TPAD) which requires all teachers to fill and submit online.
The Commission has however introduced another directive that should be done by teachers without fail. According to TSC boss Dr. Nancy Macharia, TSC has now told all teachers in Kenya to declare their wealth before 31st December, 2021.
This has been received as a troublesome news to a number of teachers especially heads of institutions who might have acquired their wealth under unclear circumstances.
