An incident has been reported of a young girl in Tharaka Nithi county who was seating for her national examination in class just like any other student who started showing signs of labor and later was forced to give birth.
The headteacher claimed that the girl's due date was supposed to be on December 10th so they were not worried that the girl will seat for the exam comparably without any difficulty since the girl had no trouble.

The county officer for education in the county has claimed that the girl will continue with her exam while still in the hospital under strict supervision until she is okay and they have reported that the baby is okay.
