His is after Wakili Bryan Khaemba pledged to pay her University Fees.
Nasimiyu, an orphan, living with her grandmother at Bisunu, Paspalamu village, Matili area in Kimilili Ward had given up in life.
This is after her jobless Aunties tried in vain to secure bursaries from different organizations.
But her tears of sorrow, turned into joy after Team Wakili Bryan Khaemba led residents in a fundraiser to take her to her dream university, Kibabii University.
Wakili Khaemba had more good news for her; he has agreed to adopt Queen Nasimiyu as his daughter, taking her through the 4 years of her academic journey.
'I have been touched by her story, I admire her resilience and faith that tomorrow is greater than today. She has a strong will to make it in life despite current challenges. I will make her dream come true.'
Wakili Khaemba, gunning for Kimilili parliamentary seat in 2022, is committed to educating learners from humble backgrounds through his highly-sought Bursary Scheme.
Residents of Paspalamu village are excited that their daughter will be going to the high institution of learning.
They say they will 'revenge' the kindness at the ballot in the forthcoming General Election.
