Report shared by the Examination official indicates that an expectant candidate sitting the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) gave birth at the Marimanti Hospital in Tharaka Nithi county before her Mathematics paper.
Therefore the Examination official confirmed that the candidate is in stable condition and that she chose to proceed with taking the Maths exam her hospital bed.
Report futher indicates that the arrangements were made to have all her examination papers derived to the hospital during the examination period.
The girl successful started her maths examinations. The two-hour Mathematics paper was scheduled to begin at 8:30 am. She will then sit her English language at 11:30 am. She will then sit her English language between 11:30 to 1:30 pm
A report from the Ministry of Education indicates that at least 333 expectant pupils will sit the KCPE and Kenya Primary Education Assessment KPSEA examinations.
