It has been a sad time to the family of the Kisumu National Polytechnic student who was laid to rest today at her home ground. The late Ivy passed a way three days ago leaving her colleagues at the Polytechnic in sombre moods.
In accordance with a report by one of the students at the Polytechnic, the late lost her life on the night of April 7. One of the students posted an emotional tribute over the death. He stated that a time had come for Ivy to depart from them. It was a difficult time for them to believe indeed.
In a post shared today by a student to Kisumu National Polytechnic group, their colleague was laid to rest at her home around mid-day. The service was attended by the recommended number of people as per the directives from the Ministry of Health on Covid-19.￼
He also acknowledged the presence of other students who accompanied him to the burial service to mourn their colleague. We are in deep prayers together with her family and friends to regain their strength during this trying moments.
