Higher Education Loan Board HELB today has sent a crucial message to all students concerning the interest rate in the HELB loan and also the benefits of paying the loan.
According to the Higher Education Loan Board HELB interest on the HELB loan start occuring immediately after the first disbursement of your loan.
The interest, according to the Higher Education Loan Board, is at 4 per cent per year for all undergraduate students who gained direct entry and 10 per cent for those in Jielimishe loan.
The good news from HELB is that once you start paying your loan the amount reduces and after you are done you can now be able to apply for a clearance certificate.
