President William Ruto Sends Message To Parents On What Will Happen To CBC

President William Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua have a task ahead to do concerning Competency Based Curriculum (CBC). The President has already appointed a team that will give him a report that will help the new government to either hold or scrap CBC.

In his campaigns, William Ruto had promised Kenyans that his government will remove this new system of education that many Kenyans have been complaining off. Most parents have had of the view that the education system is very expensive while some political analyst have argued that the country is not ready for CBC.

In his first trip in Nyanza, William Ruto has said that his government will reduce the work overload of the new system. "On CBC, I hear parents are doing homework till 2am in the morning," Ruto said. "We will reduce the homework done by parents," he added. This means that William Ruto is set to modify IEBC that could reduce work for parents.
