Thank you again my dear readers and welcome warmly to my daily news updates.
The main aim of the meeting was to find ways of improving the education standards in the two counties.
CS Machogu expressed his displeasure about the poor performance that continues to be recorded in several schools every year. He indicated that many prominent leaders from the region are worried about what is happening.
He went ahead and asked Nyamira and Kisii Counties education stakeholders, teachers, and parents to join hands and work together to ensure that all schools improve in terms of performance.
CS Machogu assured the principals that the government will employ more than 30,000 teachers who will help in teaching Junior Secondary School JSS learners.
In my view, this is a good move that will have a positive impact on the two counties and the whole country at large
