This afternoon, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from Governor Johnson Sakaja, children in school uniform will be carried for free by Matatus on the Nairobi roads.
The announcement came after the Governor of Nairobi met with the matatu industry representatives earlier on today at his offices as per the reports that we have with us from Governor Sakaja.
The governor said that he has also initiated talks with the traffic police officers in Nairobi to ensure that the students and matatus are not arrested for carrying excess passengers as per the reports that we have with us.
Children are about to close after the conclusion of term three of 2022 as the national examinations are also about to kick off across the country.
