The government is determined to see that the ongoing National Examinations are successfully done. The Education officers being led by the CS Professor George Magoha have been traversing the country inorder to ascertain the levels of preparedness and to witness the opening of the exams at different containers and at schools.
Even as the exams go on,the teachers have been advised to observe high integrity during the admistrations of the exams. In a sad note,Education CS has directed TSC to take a disciplinary action against a primary school deputy headteacher who made a child to miss the KCPE English composition paper. In the incident that occurred at Kaunguni primary school in Waita zone in Mwingi Central,Professor Magoha said that it is unfortunate that the teacher sent the child home from the exam room.
In the same school, three other candidates suffered the same fate but returned in time for the English composition paper.Unfortunately, the pupil in question returned late after the English paper had ended. This call comes at a time when the KCPE results are almost being released in the next two weeks as per CS Magoha. The parents should be ready to plan for their children for the coming form one admissions.
