A good number of our political leaders are graduates in different fields.I was motivated to do a research on the current and Former Kenyan Mps who have pursued theology at different levels of higher learning and I managed to come up with the below list of these politicians.
Former Member of Parliament for Mbeere South Constituency lived both religious and political life.
The man of clothe who once served as a pastor in Nairobi Baptist church, pursued theology in higher learning.Upon graduating from the University of Nairobi pursuing Bachelor of Education (English).He joined University of London where he did a religious course in Bachelor of Divinity,After completing he later enrolled for Master of Theology at Trinity Divinity School, Illinois.
Hon Patrick Kariuki Muiruri.
He is a Kenyan Politician who served in the Kenyan parliament for 10 representing Gatundu North Constituency.
Apart from his law degree from the University of Nairobi,Patrick Muiruri is proud owner of masters of science in divinity from Africa International University for his Master of Science in Divinity.
Hon Moses Kirimi.
Moses Nguchine Kira is a Kenyan Politician and the current member of parliament for Central Imenti in Meru County Under jubilee party.
The MP who also serves as a deacon in a local church,is a trained teacher from Shanzu TTC, apart from his teaching profession,he went to St.Nicholas AIPCA Meru where he studied a Diploma course in Theology & Ordained as a Priest.
