Good News To Egerton University Students As Lecturers Withdrew From Tomorrow's Strike

Good news to students in Egerton University after new details emerge revealing that the institution will not participate in the strike which is expected to start tomorrow Monday, 30th August.

This is after a state of disagreement which is still in existence between the university lecturers and the board in charge of Universities, University Academic Staff Union, UASU over payment issues. Lecturers had issued a one week notice and therefore, most of the universities have set to have a peaceful strike.

According to the reports as shared by the Nation Africa, Egerton University will not participate in the awaited lecturers strike. This is actually contrary to what University lecturers are expecting.

It is actually discouraging especially amongst University Students when it comes to matters of strikes since the incident normally affects the entire learning activities in the institution. Like most universities are currently during examination period and it is so much bad for lecturers to strike.
