Just in: Popular School in Western on Fire

Kenyan secondary schools are going through tough challenges. Since the start of the second term in August this year more than 60 schools have been torched down. It is something that forced the Ministry of Education headed by Prof George Magoha and other stakeholders to reintroduce an impromptu half term as a way of containing the situation. The learners returned to school five days ago. But what is worrying is that nearly six institutions have faced the same problem. Yesterday night it was reported that Karima Boys in Othaya and Bosiango secondary in Nyamira were torched.

It is again alleged through Facebook Pages that this morning Lubini High in Mumias is on fire.

In my opinion, the government should take quick action to stop completely these incidents by arresting those involved.
