Good News to Boy Who Was Admitted to a Girls School After Govt Accepts Mistake and Does This

The Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Education, Prof George Magoha, has accepted the blame where a boy student in Bungoma County had been admitted to a girls' high school for Form One.

Spencer Wangila from Bungoma received a letter to join Naromoru Girls' High School, Nyeri County.

It is a situation that has left the boy's family in a state of disarray, as their son did not choose Naromoru school as one of the ones he would like to join.

Wangila took the Class Eight (KCPE) Examination at Misikhu Primary School, scoring 370 marks.

Prof Magoha has now assured the family that the problem had been rectified.

"As the Cabinet Secretary of Education, I accept all the blame for the mistake. However, I would like to assure the public and the parents of the student concerned that the offense has been rectified. It is a mistake that the boy was called to the girls' school but I am happy because the situation is no longer there, ”he said.

He added: "The student has now been called to Kibabi High School, which is for boys."
