Teachers Service Commission is the only commission mandated to recruit, promote and train teachers in specific concerns in the Ministry of Education.
The commission has finally paid principals, head teachers teachers and ICT Champions who undertook online training on Remote Learning Methodologies (RLM).
The training that was undertaken in five days saw secondary school principals trained first and were followed by two teachers from every secondary and primary schools country wide.
The full day sessions of the training ran from Monday 07/06/2021 to Friday 11/06/2021. Despite the strenuous sessions that saw teachers spent much time online, TSC has disappointed this group of teachers with the unexpected amount of money.
This comes after TSC decided to reimburse sh: 940 to the teachers to compensate the bundles used during the online sessions.
According to the teachers who undertook the training, the amount paid by TSC on 21st July 2021 is much lower than what was consumed in form of bundles.
Other teachers vowed never to participate n such trainings unless the payment terms are revealed before hand.
