Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is a constitutional commission mandated to manage human resources in education sector in the country. The commission also registers teachers before they are allowed to teach in an learning Institutions in the country. The commission can also discipline teachers especially when they engage in activities contrary to it's code of ethics.
Since Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education began, TSC has been at forefront in supervising the distribution of exam materials and administration of exams. This comes at a time seven teachers are facing interdiction as results of examinations malpractice. Today Principal of ABC Kusewe Secondary school was arrested for allegedly posting examination paper in her WhatsApp status.
