Fourth year university student found dead in her apartment in apparent suicide, Kiambu County.
This is according to the Mpasho News on Thursday morning.
"Body of a student at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture Technology was found in her apartment in Juja, Kiambu County, after an apparent suicide." The statement read out.
Preliminary reports indicates that Irene Monica Mwangi, 26, and a fourth year student school of business studying a computer course used a cloth to hang herself.
It was reported that the deceased missed her graduation, hence the end up taking her own life.
Her lifeless body was discovered in her bathroom's door frame at a Juja house.
She killed herself as other university students who had completed their courses graduated on June 28.
Eye witnesses reports revealed that she was traumatised after missing graduation.
Police said they responded to the scene of crime the same day the graduation took place and found the body.
A suicide report was discovered in the room. The contents were revealed to her family.
