Bad News To The Ministry Of Education As Another Setback Over CBC Emerges Following Court Order

Bad news to the ministry of education as another setback over Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) emerges following this court order. The ministry of education is absolutely working hard to ensure that the new education system termed as Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) is implemented, however one of the parents went to court to challenge the Competency Based Curriculum. Equally the Teachers Service Commission is currently putting all possible strategies to ensure that there will be enough teachers who will handle the CBC classes in Junior Secondary Schools.

However the ministry of education has now received bad news as another setback over CBC emerges following this latest court order. According to the reliable sources Justice Antony Mrima has certified CBC petition as raising substantial issues requiring consideration by an uneven number of judges, being not less than 5 to be assigned by the Chief Justice. Mention will be on 7th December 2021 before a bench to be appointed by Chief Justice via Nelson Havi. Therefore CBC will go through difficult times in court before the Judges come up with the final judgements.
