The Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB), is the body tasked with the preparation of syllabuses for professional, diploma and certificate examinations in accountancy, company secretarial practice and related disciplines and the arrangement and conducting examinations and issuance of certificates to such candidates.
KASNEB has got three examination session, April, August, and December. Following president Uhuru's directives announced last week that put on halt physical learning in all institutions in Kenya except for the medical colleges, KASBEN students who had been preparing for the April Exams got affected.
However, following the announcement by KASNEB, the April Examinations that were scheduled for the 26th to 30th day of April 2021 are still on. the Board has therefore urged all the candidates to continue with their revisions for the examinations. They have also advised all the stakeholders to continue using online platforms to do inquiries as they consult the relevant the authorities over their planned examination periods.
