Kikuyu musicians are not only famous but also educated, some of them even have Masters in their field of study.
Here are some of the most educated Kikuyu musicians;
Lawrence Mwangi alias as Gathee wa Njeri is one of the most famous Kikuyu Mugithi artist whose songs is listened not only in Kenya but also in other countries.
Gathee is one of the most educated musicians, he studied at Kenyatta University where he persuades a course in Business Administration and management and he got second upper-class honor.
After graduating, Gathee wa Njeri went back to university to take his master's degree and by now he still wants to go for a Ph.D.
2. Kioi Junior
He is also a famous musician who is also educated as well, Kioi Junior got a straight-A in his form 4 K.C.S.E Exam, this grade enabled him to be placed in the University of Nairobi where he persuades a course in engineering.
3. Tony Young
Antony Kamau Ngata alias Tony Young is a famous Kikuyu musician who is also educated though he has not yet completed his university studies.
Tony Young after his secondary school education, got a good grade which enabled him to join Maasai Mara University where he is undertaking a bachelor's in commerce.
