Joy To Parents As Education Cabinet Secretary Delivers Good News To Students Over Form One Admission

The government of Kenya is very much responsible to ensure that children under eighteen years meet and enjoy their rights. For instance, the government of Kenya offers free Education to students in primary and secondary schools. Therefore, students have an obligation to better their future careers in education.

The ministry of education is strictly emphasising on the 100% transition of students from primary to Secondary schools. Admissions for the 2021 KCPE candidates are still on whereas others schools have completed admitting learners.

The Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha is currently conducting a move that is aimed at achieving the 100% transition policy. Professor George Magoha is going round the country visiting students from poor backgrounds who are not able to join form one due to financial constraints.

While conducting the mop up exercise, Magoha visited a family in Nakuru where a well performed student failed to join from one. After a long conversation with the student's mother, who is also a single parent, Magoha directed that the boy be taken to Nakuru Boys High School. The Education Cabinet secretary explained further that Nakuru Boys High is a government institution and also the student belongs to the government hence should be guaranteed opportunity to study. This is good news to the students and parents who may have the same challenge since the ministry of education is ready to address it.
