The Kenyan Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Albert Omore Magoha is married to a Nigerian wife. He is known for his no - nonsense approach to things. He however have a soft spot when it comes to family. His Nigerian wife has managed to stay out the limelight for the longest time possible.
Doctor Barbara Odudu Essien Magoha, the wife to CS Magoha, is of Nigerian descent and just like her husband she is a medical practitioner. The dual met at the University of Lagos, where both were medical students. They later got married in 1982.
Dr Odudu, Mrs. Magoha, is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Kenyatta National Hospital. She is also a lecturer at the University of Nairobi where her husband served as the Vice Chancellor.
Dr.Odudu also holds a masters degree in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Both Dr. Odudu and Prof Magoha have one son, Michael Magoha who is an alumnus of Strathmore and Brookhouse schools. He graduated from the University of Nairobi’s School of Medicine in 2009.
Prof George Magoha is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Nairobi's College of Health Sciences. He also serves as consultant Urologist at Kenyatta National Hospital.
