The Kenya National Examinations Council(KNEC) has released the criteria of paying the contracted professionals who will be working during KCSE and KCPE examinations. A total of 286,000 professionals will administer the examinations. The contracted professionals that is the centre managers, supervisors, Invigilators and security personnel will be needed to upload their details online.
Payment details from the council indicate that the Primary School headteacher who will be the Centre Manager in his school will take home an allowance of sh500 per a day in a period of four days. Kenya Certificate of Primary Education(KCPE) is scheduled to start from 22nd to Wednesday 24th March 2021.
Secondary school heads will earn also a daily allowance of Ksh 500 for 18 days. Supervisors in secondary school by the end of the exercise will take home a sum total of Ksh 12,510. The Invigilators will get Ksh 9,860. The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education(KCSE) will start on 26th March this year and it will end on April 21, 2021.
