Teachers in Mourning as KNUT Treasurer Dies at a Nairobi Hospital

Teachers are the pillar of every community across not just the country but the world over given their contribution to the advancement of knowledge.

The Kenya National Union of Teachers, KNUT, is a dedicated organ that seeks to fight for the rights of teachers across Kenya with its offices in the capital, Nairobi.

This morning, the Secretary General of Kenya National Union of Teachers, KNUT, Collins Oyuu, had announced the passing of a senior official at the Union.

The National Treasurer of Kenya National Union of Teachers, Ali Abdi Hussein has unfortunately passed on this morning after a short illness.

The National Treasurer, Ali Abdi Hussein, was receiving treatment at the prestigious private hospital known as Nairobi Hospital when he passed on.

The Secretary General, Collins Oyuu, has mourned the departed Treasurer as a servant of the teachers who dedicated his life to ensuring that teachers get the best.

He lives behind an extended family that we all send our condolences to and the entire teaching fraternity in the country.
