Hello Kenyans, thanks again for meeting up with opera news, a source of instant and reliable information.
Locked down counties as well as students have received a huge boost ahead of reopening of the two sectors as ministry of health has broke good news today. During today's Covid 19 briefings, the health ministry has revealed that a decrease of Covid 19 cases was recorded over the past 24 hours. Among eight thousand, four hundred and ninety eight of the samples that were tested, only eight hundred and thirty four of them tested positive. This produced a positivity rate of 9.8%.
Comparing yesterday and today's rates, there exists a deviation of 2.6%. This is indeed good news as Kenyans had experienced an increase of Covid 19 cases in the previous days. There is only a difference of 4.8% to attain the ministry of health's recommended level. Therefore, the lockdown that's currently put in Nairobi, Machakos, Nakuru, Kajiado and Kiambu may be removed as long as the rates continue declining.
Besides, the ministry has also confirmed that eight hundred and fifty three thousand and eighty one (853, 081) have been vaccinated against Covid 19 over the past 24 hours. This shows how the country is becoming more safe day by day through the efforts of the government and Kenyans at large.
