All learning institutions will resume their learning as scheduled by the school calendar according to the speech issued yesterday by president Uhuru Kenyatta. However, there are some guidelines which should be followed by every learning institution before being allowed to resume it's learning.
Every school should ensure that all learners are tested for Covid-19 before being allowed to enter into the school compound. Thus, any students who will test positive for Covid-19, he or she should be taken into the hospital with immediate effect so as to prevent transmission of that virus to other learners. Therefore all schools should ensure that they have enough machines for Covid-19 testing before schools reopen and if any school lack this machines, then it should request to the ministry of education as early as possible.
Every parent should also ensure that his or her child has more than three face masks for proper protection against Covid-19 infection. Therefore it is the responsibility of every parent to ensure that his or her child is well protected against Covid-19 infection through providing them with enough face masks.
Also every learning institution should ensure that it has enough water and hand sanitizers for regular washing of hands. This should be a mandatory to every school and any school which will experience shortage of water and hand sanitizers, then it should take that report to the ministry of education so that they can be assisted.
In collusion no learning institution will be allowed to resume it's learning without fulfilling the above guidelines for proper protection against Covid-19 infection within the schools.
