An examiner have been thrown out of Alliance Girls High School ,were marking of KCSE examination was ongoing,when she was captured by CCTV stealing clothes from her colleagues. Face towels, undergarments, and blouses were among the items of clothing that the female examiner was caught stealing.
After reviewing the video, a representative of the Alliance Girls High School Administration confirmed that the teacher had been turned over to the authorities. The representative confirmed, "Those in charge of the examination center came for the CCTV video and reviewed it before they went for the examiner."
The wet clothes that had been hung on a clothesline behind Alliance Girls Dormitory were taken by the female teacher. Later, it was said that the examiner is a teacher of Kiswahili from one of the best schools in the country.
The administration went on to say that "the case was handled as a criminal matter and given the right attention by the security officials at the examinations center." Security officers at Alliance Girls High School also confirmed that the examiner was asked to write a formal statement about the accusations made against her.
Additionally, the victims were requested to identify the clothes taken from the clotheline behind the girls' dorm. The incident was also reported by school security personnel to the Kiambu Police Station, which began an investigation.
