Parents, students and B.O.M teachers have been worried on whether schools will reopen as initially scheduled or the country will go back to the 2020 experience where schools and learning institutions remained closed for ten months. However, hope has been reborn after the education CS Prof. George Magoha gave clue to when schools are likely to reopen for the resumption of learning.
Speaking To K24 TV while inspecting and monitoring the ongoing KCSE examination, Prof. George Magoha indicated that schools are set to reopen as earlier scheduled since the current Covid-19 cases are showing a positive trend of reducing.
Prof. Magoha assured the public that schools will reopen as earlier planned and there are no plans yet of changing the education calendar. However, he stated that the decision to open or not to open schools are dependant to advice from the health specialists.
Do you see Prof. Magoha's report remaining unchanged owing to the trend of the spread of Covid-19? Feel free to leave a comment below. Please like share and follow my page for more reads.
