There's so much anxiety and excitement in the air especially with the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates as they await campus placement by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).
However, there are some students who chose to directly apply for admission in their preferred colleges/ universities, notably students who chose to pursue medical courses at the Kenya Medical Training College, which is a mid- level training institution, and the only public college in Kenya offering medical courses at Higher Diploma, Diploma and certificate levels. Additionally, it offers short courses.

The college has over 74 campuses distributed across 44 counties in Kenya. It contributes to 80% of the health workforce in Kenya. Students at the college undergo rigorous training to ensure they are competent to serve not only in Kenya but also abroad.
Recently, the college's Higher National Diploma was equated to a university degree by the Kenya National Qualifications Authority, a clear indication that the training at the college is thorough.
