Today the students of Kenya Water Institutes (KWI) Kitui branch have taken on streets from Manyenyoni to Kitui town to demonstrate over poor management of the school. They argued that the problem began with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr.Patrick Ayombe after he did away with the students council which had representatives to represent their grievances in the school and now they are tired of his leadership because he doesn't listen to them.
They claimed that the CEO doesn't refund the money the students pay for demages and treatment they pay when getting admitted in the institute after they graduate.Adding that for the whole academic year they haven't destroyed anything but Patrick Ayimbo is silent on their money and doesn't pick their phones.
They have also raised concerns on their results after completing their professional courses.Saying that the results are delayed and upon requesting they are send off to bring money amounting to Ksh 7,000 which is not explained why and what for.
