It is the first term in our schools in our country. Learners resumed learning on the 25th of April this year and the term is expected to end on 1 July. One thing that many people and most parents are the burning ok f schools that were dominant last year and affected many prominent schools.
It is bad news to report that Moi Girls High School in Uasin Gishu County was yesterday night on fire. According to information uploaded on social media, platforms firefighters battled the blaze that razed down three laboratories. No immediate injuries were confirmed amongst the students.
In my view, this matter should be investigated immediately to find out what might have happened. At the same time action should be taken against those found culpable. Remember if it will be left like that more cases of fires might continue occurring in our schools.
