Deputy president William Ruto finalised his Meru county tour over the weekend. This is is a tour that was meant to help him popularise himself ahead of 2022 general elections. On Monday, he therefore was scheduled to meet residents of Embakasi West in Nairobi.
On Monday afternoon, the DP was at Kabukosya secondary school in Embakasi West. He was given an opportunity to address the students and he started by giving them a word of encouragement. He told them that they are leaders of tomorrow and they should therefore work hard at school.
He also told them if they have to make any change is their lives, then it should be a positive change. This is because change is always positive. He also told them that as a parent, he was very proud of them. He applauded their principal for the good work.
He finished by promising the students that he will give the principal one hundred thousand Kenya shillings. The students could not hide their joy, they celebrated and rejoiced with him.
