The current Education Cabinet Secretary, Ezekiel Mochogu has has disclose the directives he has given out to Chief examiners on the penalty every student who cheated on examination should receive.
"KCSE Candidates thought I was stupid as they were stealing exams, I have directed chief examiners that in each subject per student to be penalized 0.58", CS Education, Ezekiel Mochogu.
This has happen when examinations are underway to completion in marking at different examination centres. Mochogu has said that the penalty will cut across all the KCSE Candidates despite of who cheated and who did not cheat.
This will come as a severe blow to the majority of candidates because it may prevent them from receiving the required grade for admission to a university or higher school.
Prior to the 23rd of this month when classes resume, the exam results are anticipated to be made public.
Do you think the decision made by the Education Cabinet Secretary in a wise on? Give me your thought on this.
