Naughty Student Found Peddling Rolls Of Bhang To His Classmates, Arrested

Police in Kisumu are detaining a naughty student who was found peddling bhang to his classmates students at Rapogi Mixed Secondary School in Kombewa, Seme Sub-county.

Teachers from the learning institution summoned police officers that the naughty student had been peddling bhang sticks to his classmates.

West Seme location chief Nicholas Oguma who confirmed the incident noted they promptly toured the school and caught the boy with 11 sticks of bhang.

He said the student was grilled and led the security officers to home where he picked the drugs.

Chief Oguma conducted a thorough operation at the home and found the woman with atleast 700 rolls of bhang, 14 litres of changaa and kangaraa used to make the illicit liquor.

The woman and the boy were placed in police cell awaiting their arraignment in court.

Cases of school student engaging in drug and substance abuse has been on the rise for sometime.

The authorities are urging the school teachers to include guidance and counselling lessons on their school timetables, so as to teach the learners on the effects of drugs and substance abuse.
